Grand Championships

When fortunate enough to earn First Place honors, competitors will meet other winners in a Grand Championship event. Winning a Grand Championship is the first step towards the quest for the coveted AMAPA Grand Championship Belt. To win the AMAPA Belt, at the end of the season, competitors must hold the most Grand Championship wins at AMAPA tournaments for their respective division. A minimum of two Grand Championships are required to win the AMAPA Grand Championship Belt. In the event of a tie, the victor is determined to be the competitor with the highest AMAPA point standings from their individual division. It is in each competitor’s best interest to participate in every AMAPA tournament, attaining as many points as possible, in the tight race for each AMAPA Grand. AMAPA is privileged to continue to provide the most exciting, organized events for the most talented martial artists in the area. We are looking forward to the remainder of the 2008 season, and also to the promising future of our organization and its supporters. We welcome any suggestions that you have that may help AMAPA flourish, and once again, we thank you for your continued support and we wish all of our competitors luck in their quest for the AMAPA Grand Championship Belt.
